Our home is a mess. Art leans upon walls in rooms where its never hung. We've shoved dressers into the centers of rooms, leaving a trail for painters to do their work. After eight years in this home, we're leaving the painting to the professionals.
The clutter bothers me; it makes it hard to read, think, and pray. Surroundings matter. Yet out of this clutter and chaos fresh beauty will soon emerge, a palette for this next season of our lives.
It's always been this way.
The earth was without form...And God said, "Let there be light."
In your chaos, may fresh creativity and beauty break forth like the dawn. May the Artist enter your clutter and paint the interior walls of your heart. In your chaos, let there be light.
